Drumroll Please…Meet Loxi!
After nearly a year of hard work, we’re finally ready to unveil Loxi, the newest online calendar platform and events management tool from Modern Tribe (that’s our parent company).
What is Loxi?
Loxi is an online tool that makes it easy to build a beautiful events calendar and add it to just about any site on the web without any complicated code or technical skills required.
Unlike other calendars that are installed using CMS-specific tools like plugins or extensions, Loxi is entirely self-contained, making it compatible with popular platforms such as Squarespace, Wix, Weebly, WordPress, and more.
An Idea with a Purpose
There are a lot of calendar tools out there, including The Events Calendar, our own popular WordPress plugin that’s used on over 600,000 websites across the globe.
But popularity doesn’t solve your problems—functionality does. And that’s where the idea for Loxi came from. We’re fantastically proud of our WordPress plugins. They do a phenomenal job helping users manage even the most unwieldy events calendar setup you can imagine. But they can only be used on WordPress sites.
Over the years, we’ve had many folks that weren’t running WordPress express interest in our plugins. And each time they did, we had to refer them elsewhere. It’s never fun to tell someone you can’t help them, so our team began cooking up a new tool that would work no matter which platform your site is built on.
Planned with Intention
We knew Loxi needed to work on any website, regardless of how that site was built. As we began the early stages of discovery, we realized the best way to decide which core features to build was to go straight to the source.
After conducting zillions of one-on-one interviews (okay, it wasn’t that many, but it was definitely a lot), we identified several big-picture problems people were facing with their existing calendar tools. So that’s what we set out to solve.
Built to Stop Headaches and Solve Problems
Adding a new calendar to a website can be complicated and messy. We built Loxi to be the exact opposite. All the key features are still here for you, we’ve just made them a heck of a lot easier to use.

With Loxi, you don’t need coding skills or even any technical skills at all because our developers have already done the hard work for you. We enlisted our top designers to make it beautiful right out of the box, and built the admin interface in a way that makes adding and editing events completely straightforward and simple.
We also made it mobile-friendly so your calendar shines on any device.

It’s frustrating when someone tells you something is easy, then when you try to do it yourself, it’s totally overwhelming and hard to figure out.
